The detail
Children's sportswear is washed hot, often, and with everything else, so this is dyed with a reactive process rated to fifty washes before noticeable fade rather than a cheaper surface dye. The body is cut with a dropped raglan sleeve so there is no shoulder seam to rub under a bag strap, and the neckline is ribbed and taped like the adult tee because children stretch collars faster than anyone.
